Our Sunday services (10am at 13 White Street) are an opportunity for everyone to come and enjoy time to worship and connect with each other. Being together reminds us that we can’t do life alone. After the service why not hang out over a cup of coffee and meet new people!
At Gateway we realise that we are ‘on mission’ as individuals and as a church. We have several local situations, as well as international organisations we support with funds and visits so we can fulfill our vision and mission statements.

Kids are important to us, so we’ve created a place for them to learn at their level. Every Sunday all children (babies through to 6th grade) experience safe, age-appropriate environments where the bible is taught in a creative and relevant way. We have a new children’s area and staff offices planned for 2020 so stay tuned as we work to provide a fresh space for your kids to be cared for and taught about Jesus!
Kickstart is a program for pre youth age kids to hang out and have fun in a supervised environment. Children learn to be developed in their spiritual walk. Kickstart is an initiative of Clare and Warren Simms – they have some great things planned for your kids! Kickstart is held once a month on a Friday from 5- 6.30pm (check the calendar for details)
Small groups are such an important part of church life! It’s a place where you can know and be known by others in the security of a smaller group of people. At Gateway we call them ‘Life Groups’ as we want to emphasise the importance of doing life together. We have several Life Groups meeting at various homes in Bunbury – why not register to join one today?
Music has the power to move, motivate and heal people; Our worship team helps us to connect with God through music and song, and are always looking for passionate and committed musicians to inspire us to worship. Why not register your interest and make a time to audition today?
At Gateway we have a team of volunteers for lighting, sound and multi-media, we understand that ‘AV’ is another way to dynamically present the gospel message. We have a team with these skills and are always looking for more people to train and use in this area.
It has been well said that volunteers are among the hardest working and least appreciated community resource! That’s because people primarily volunteer from a passion to help or further a cause. Here at Gateway we have many hardworking and passionate volunteers! We couldn’t do what we do without them. Why not go from spectator to spectacular and volunteer to help? What are you skilled to do & what are you passionate about?
Some of the areas people volunteer in are:
- Children’s church (Must have current WWCC)
- Kids creche (Must have current WWCC)
- Worship team (need to have an audition and interview with team)
- Sound, Lighting and Media desk
- Carpark and signage
